Is cover restricted to my home club?

No,  your cart is covered Australia wide.

 

Why does the policy expire on 31 October?

All our policies expire on 31 October in line with the master policy agreements we have with our insurers.

 

How is my premium to 31 October calculated?

We adjust the annual premium to reflect the actual insurance period.  However, minimum premium requirements and some fixed costs means that the premium for the insurance period is not strictly a pro-rata amount.

 

Can I insure for third party liability cover only?

No.  Our policy does not provide liability only cover.

Can anyone drive my cart?

Yes.  However additional excesses may apply for young drivers.

My member affiliation fees include Golf Australia's Player's Personal Liability insurance.  Why do I need liability with Tee'd Up Cart Insurance?

Golf Australia's arrangements provide cover for matters arising from golfing activities only.  The liability cover provided by Tee'd Up Cart Insurance provides cover in the event of non-golfing activities (whilst the cart is in storage, in transit, at home, car park incidents and alike).

What is 'own damage' cover?

'Own damage' is effectively 'comprehensive' property cover for unregistered vehicles.  It cover risks such as theft, fire, impact damage, storm and alike.

How do I pay?

In most instances you can pay your premium to the club.  Otherwise payment can be made by BPay or credit card.

Why must I pay the premium to my Club?

We have aggreagated policies for each club.​​​​

Do I need to provide my cart serial number?

It is preferred that we have your serial number but it is not mandatory.

 

How do I get a quote?

To get a quote complete the form at our insurance cover page.

Will I get proof of cover?

Yes.  We will issue you a certifcate confirming cover.

Will I get a Product Disclosure Statement?

Yes.  Policy documents are issued with all quotes and again when the quote is converted to a policy.  The Product Disclosure Statement also is available by clicking this link. The Target Market Determination is available by clicking this link.

My cart is registered.  Can I insure it with Tee'd Up Cart Insurance?

Yes.
